You know you can do that in Ottawa with “Come Sing Messiah”!! – where 750 amateur singers get together, in 4-part harmony, on the first Friday in December at Dominion Chalmers with professional soloists, a conductor, orchestra and choir!!
It is amazing fun and sooo good to get involved.

Come Sing Messiah Performance for voices and orchestra
“Come Sing Messiah” is a very special event, dear to the hearts of a large number of singers throughout the National Capital Region. It is an opportunity to sing Handel’s great masterpiece with hundreds of other vocalists, accompanied by a chamber orchestra, as well as four talented soloists:
Joan Fearnley (soprano)
Andrew Robar (counter tenor)
Jean-Philippe Fortier-Lazure (tenor)
Philip Holmes (baritone)
Louis Lavigueur conducts, with Kevin James, concertmaster of the chamber orchestra, and organist Alan Thomas.
Doors open at 5:30 pm; Rehearsal at 6:00 pm; Performance at 8:00 pm.
Dominion-Chalmers United Church, O’Connor at Cooper
Singers $10; Audience $20
Tickets go on sale November 13. Seating is limited. Get your tickets early. Tickets are available at:
